You decide who wins by donating spare change or by sabotaging other shelters with dollars! The shelters keep whatever they make in their buckets, and whichever shelter has the most points at the end of the week will win a $50 BnB’s gift card.

Adoption Event - 4 November
4 nov Update - Koda is coming!
UPDATE on event - As of 3 November, dogs coming to event include Heidi, Emma, Ruger, Nala, and Panchito.
We’ll be having an adoption event at Down Home Dog Resort on 4 November from 100-300. All available dogs will be there. If interested in one, we encourage you to fill out an adoption application prior to the event - pre-approved adopters only will be able to take the pup home that day.

Champion Canine 1st Annual Trunk or Treat
The lovely team at Champion Canine is hosting a Spooktacular Pack Walk and Trunk or Treat with proceeds benefiting Saving Shepherds Rescue! And there may be an appearance by our Amazing Linda and SSR alumni Bodie!

Join us for a very special event! Champion Canine is having a pack walk and first annual Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 28th! Proceeds from this event will be donated to Saving Shepherds Rescue to help with vet costs and supplies for the dogs!
The Pack Walk will begin at 10am! We will meet at PARK RD and FOURTH ST at the small Park just off of Route 65 and take our walk through Ambridge. You will be able to test for your dogs Canine Good Citizenship Urban if desired!
Just to walk is a $10 donation.
The walk and CGC Urban test is a $20 donation.
Following the walk, we will be having our first annual Trunk or Treat at our facility from 12pm to 3pm! Kids and dogs are welcome! (Parents please make sure your children ask before petting anyone’s dog!)

Howloween Bash @ Down Home Dog Resort
We’ll be at Down Home Dog Resort’s Howloween Bash on 14 October from 400-800 - come see us! We could use some volunteers, please let us know if you can assist with setting up a booth and handing out candy and dog treats. Contact us here

VIPP (Very Important Pawty Pup):
$30.00/dog (includes Goodie Bag (valued at over $20, plus 5 tickets for our basket drawings.)
There will be:
- various activities & games for the dogs

and howling good fun!
ALL dogs MUST be ON-LEASH, and MUST be up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations.
A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to Saving Shepherds Rescue.
2nd Annual Adoption Reunion and Fundraiser

Everyone 2 or 4 legs is welcome to come join us for some fun, raffles, and food. This will be an event that previous adopters can bring their pets to. Hopefully, you will get to meet some of your pup’s siblings! Visit us and find out more about our Rescue and our mission. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
Food and Drinks will be provided! Games and a lot of fun for everyone!!
There will also be a merchandise table there with Saving Shepherds Rescue merchandise for sale and some rescue-related crafts.
Basket raffle auction with several awesome baskets and prizes. Including lottery trees, Spa basket, bath, and body works baskets, gift cards, children’s baskets, pet baskets, tool basket, BBQ Basket. Basket raffle auction tickets are $10 for 20 tickets, and one ticket for the door prize. Need not be present to win but pick up must be arranged for the prize that you win.
The door prize will be 2 YETI 64 0z dog bowls engraved with the SSR name and Logo, with leashes, toys, and treats!
Over $200 value.
2 GRAND PRIZES
1. Casino Weekend getaway! Seneca Gaming Corporation. Will include a $750 gift card to be used for room and dining. SSR will be including $500 cash to use as you wish!! $10 a ticket with only 200 available.
2. YETI 45 Cooler, filled with drinks, 2 YETI Rambler Tumblers. $10 a ticket with only 100 being sold!! 50-50 raffle!! The 50-50 tickets will also be available for presale. As will the grand prize tickets, IF you are not able to attend, grand prizes will need to be picked up in person.
We ask that you please pick up after your pet, there will be poop bags available for you to use! We will have water and bowls there for the pups to drink from.
Pups are to always remain on a Leash while here. We do not want to lose a pet or have any disagreements! NO retractable leashes, please!!
Please RSVP with your name, pup’s name, and date of adoption, so that we can make up name tags for all to wear, That will make it easier for you to find your pup’s siblings!!

Please consider making a donation during Crawford Gives this year. We have taken in several medical cases this year, and monetary help is so much needed to continue our mission.
1st Annual Adoption Reunion
This is the 1st annual reunion and fundraiser for the public, adopters, and fosters. EVERYONE is welcome to attend. This is open to the public. There will be many raffles, and a gift basket raffle with several nice prizes. Pleas RSVP with your name and # of people attending.
Cans For Wishes Pictures with Easter Bunny
We are proud to be teaming up with cans for wishes for their April event. We will have a booth set up for pictures with the Easter Bunny!! Bring your children or your pets, all are welcome. We will have a merchandise table with koozies, t-shirts, Daffins candy bars, etched wine glasses, engraved mugs and more. Please consider coming out to support the rescue! We will be accepting donations of food, treats, and toys. Monetary donations are also appreciated and much needed.
Dog Transport Arriving
16 dogs will be arriving in Grove City, PA to meet their new families. These dogs are being transported from Texas where they were in a very bad situation. Saving Shepherds Rescue got the call to save these pups.
