The lovely Azula, mom to Xena and her littermates - is back with SSR - AGAIN. I’ll say through no fault of her own, the adopters had 2 cats, one she got along fine with, the other she’d chase when food was out. We know she’s dog selective and they used a slow introduction with the cats and all was good for awhile till it wasn’t and poor Azula is returned and is boarding again. She absolutely LOVES people. Bailey is a 2 year old GSD mix, neutered, UTD on shots, and gets along with other dogs. He’s currently in boarding - if interested in fostering or adopting, please submit an application!

Sheba is approx 8-9 months old Shepherd mix. She’s currently in boarding, which is not ideal, but we don’t have a foster for her. She’s a sweet girl with a LOT of energy - if you are looking for an active girl, she’s the one! If you can foster, please fill out an application!

Thea is still awaiting her own home. She’s doing great with her foster and his pack of 5 dogs. Just an all-around sweet girl, who’s had some interest, but her family has not found her yet.

Charlie is approx a 4 month old GSD mix male pup, who had a rough start to life as a stray in West Virginia. He’s now with a SSR foster and got neutered, shots, and other vetting. He’ll be ready for adoption on 19 June. If interested, please submit an adoption application.

Ziggy is back with SSR, through no fault of his own. They said he was chewing and digging, which is what puppies will do until they are taught not to. They had him for 2 weeks. If you are not sure if you are committed to adopting a pet, FOSTER! Remi, the black pup, is his brother and is doing great with his adopters.
